Working through any loss, from the anguish of a death or ending a relationship, to the loss of a personal dream, is a complicated process. We find ourselves hit by waves of reality we would not have chosen, and others around us may inadvertently pressure us to “hurry up and move on.” But grief has its own rhythm, and requires processing anger and sadness. Men often struggle with the sadness and women with the anger; therapy provides a safe place to do both.
